OBJECTIVE
Rebrand the learning store Lakeshore to better communicate their brand voice. They offer a wide variety of resources from furniture, classroom décor, and learning materials. The unique thing about Lakeshore is that they not only sell to schools/educators but are open to the public as well, which makes learning easy for everyone!​​​​​​​
APPROACH
The logo was created by combining the letterforms with building blocks, a widely known and common children’s toy. This keeps the existing customer base by using the name, but with a more unique and creative approach. Lakeshore wants to make sure that everyone has access to learning materials in and out of the classroom, so they offer online, in-store, and catalog shopping.
